This book is hands down amazing. Yes, it is long and drawn out. The last third of the book can be cumbersome. Everything surrounding the cult never gets clearly settled. However, the emotional connection I had while reading this book and for the days it lingered after I finished made it 5 stars. Never has a book made me feel so eerily disconnected with the world.
