Wow! Although I was somewhat confused when I started this book, every chapter was engrossing and I wanted to read more about each character! I picked up this book after hearing a glowing recommendation from NPR.
I couldn't really think of a weak or boring character. , every chapter I could see being made into a full-fledged book. Everything is just that great. The powerpoint chapter is inventive and I was surprised that I actually got a true story out of it. It wasn't any weaker than any of the other chapters. I really forgot that it was PPT after a few pages, even if that may seemed far-fetched.
I enjoyed the meaning of the book's title, which I thought was witty, and I haven't heard of. The last chapter was really interesting.
The description on the back of the book doesn't really describe what it's about. Not too much about punk rock and the music industry as much as it would want you to think. More of a focus on the characters and feelings.
