The last story in this collection, "The Dead," is by far the most resounding of all the short stories. If you're going to read any, at least, read this one.
Each of the stories give you a slice of Dublin life and the people who inhabit it. By the end of each story, I eagerly wanted more. Joyce did well creating impressionable characters. However, the actual storylines present in each aren't as impressionable, but it's not the actual content that's important, but the emotional connection you can clean.
